Ok, so you have some work you want done! You're phoning around for some quotes, either you're frustrated or just started your search! Either way give us a quick call, we promise we wont take up too much time. You don't want the stress, you want affordable prices, with reliability, somebody who is efficient, honest and professional. A hard working guy who understands what you are looking for and cracks on. Here at KB handyman, as a family run business, we understand time is precious, home improvements and DIY are stressful and finding somebody reliable is hard these days. That's why we make sure that you get 100% satisfactory service! 

When you decide to make contact; you can call, email, use the contact form or text the number below with your enquiry. We have no preference of how you contact us. We will then get back to you, with the aim of a few hours, if not then most definitely by the evening. We can arrange with you a time that suits you, for somebody to pop over and give you a free no obligation quote. 

We work in 2 ways. Hourly rate or by the job. If you are unsure of how long your job will take, or you have a huge list of small bits, we may decide by the hour is best. If its a bigger job that will take half day, full day or even a few days we can quote you on the full job. If however you prefer a fixed price we are happy to provide you with one and are flexible. Always ask and we can let you know when we come over. This avoids the handyman working slower for more money issue that alot of people offer!

It would be really handy (ok no pun intended!) if you have a list ready for with prioritised jobs. This is an efficient way of working and can really help with us give you a fixed quote for the job. 

We will then come over to start the job at a time that suits you! 

Please note that some jobs we are not able to give a daily rate because they are more specialised trades such as plumbing, damp, electrician work. 

Our rates: 

We prefer to avoid an hourly rate, people generally prefer a fixed price for their jobs. This way you know what you are going to pay before your work starts. We also like to take into consideration your budget, so will always ask you what you can afford, and work towards that as best we can.

If you are looking for an hourly rate, call us to talk it through and we maybe able to give you a better price then you think.

We do offer the below rates for those who prefer a fixed price for the day, again you can call us to discuss this as it may work out cheaper for you to have a fixed price.

Weekdays (Day or Evening)
£130 Half Day (4 hours)
£240 Full Day (7 hours)

Weekends
£140 half day (4 hours)
£250 Full day (7 hours)

Rainham, Becontree, marks gate, chadwell heath, dagenham, elm park, hornchurch, romford, upminster, Gidea park, cranham, aveley, purfleet, grays, thurrock, upney, barking, ilford, gants hill, east ham, upton park, stratford, stepney, mile end, whitechapel, aldgate, mile end, shadwell, bow, bethnal green, bromley by bow, west ham, manor park, canning town, forest gate, beckton, leytonestone, leyton, victoria park, canary wharf. If you are in a surrounding area that is not mentioned, please call to ask. 

Additional Charges:

Congestion Charge: Our Multi traders travel from around the Rainham, Essex area. If its a smaller job and they are travelling out to you into london, we ask that you pay the £12 CC. 

Parking: This will depend on the area and some times heavy tools need to be carried, if you have space for us on your drive fantastic! If not we may ask you to pay for the parking and this will be clarified when we give you a free quote. However our guys will always first look to see if there is a free spot somewhere. 

Travelling further out: We get enquiries from all over, and sometimes outside of london and Essex. If you have a lot of work to do and want us to come to an area that is not listed above, just call and ask us if we can, in this instance petrol will need to be covered, we won't put a price on it, you can decide for yourself. There is a minimum booking of 2 hours for work outside our area.
